Rehabilitation and Expansion of the Main Garage and the Main Garage Road at Tikrit University, Salahudeen Governorate.

Scope of work:-

AL KHATAB AL MUTAHIDA Co. has been contracted for the rehabilitation and expansion of the main garage and the main garage road at Tikrit University, located in Salah Al-Din Governorate, in accordance with the contract requirements and the Bill of Quantities (BoQ). This work is a critical part of improving university infrastructure, providing students and staff with better access and functionality.

The contract includes the following activities:

1. Preparing materials and equipment and conducting scraping and leveling of the designated garage area. Special care will be taken to ensure that the surface is perfectly level, providing a stable foundation for future construction.
2. Preparing materials and equipment for backfilling the garage yard with grade 3 crushed gravel, applied in layers (each layer having a minimum thickness of 25 cm) to ensure durability and resistance to wear over time.
3. Preparing materials and equipment for constructing side molds (kerbstone) of the readymade glazed type, including laying a concrete base with a width of 70 cm, ensuring robustness and a long lifespan for the side molds. The kerbstones will be reinforced to handle heavy traffic.
4. Preparing materials and equipment for installing a fence made of prefabricated concrete columns, 2 meters high. The fence will not only provide security but will also be aligned with the overall design of the university.
5. Preparing materials and equipment for spreading a 10 cm thick stabilizer layer, followed by the application of a Prime coat. This is essential for creating a smooth and durable surface for the garage road, ensuring long term usability.
6. Manufacturing, equipping, and installing BRC doors. These doors will be custom designed to ensure high levels of security and durability.
7. Preparing and installing traffic signs. The signs will follow international standards, ensuring that all signage is clear and determinedly placed for safety and ease of navigation.
8. Preparing, connecting, and inspecting LED lighting poles with a height of 11 meters. These energy efficient lights will be enhancing safety and reducing energy costs.
9. Supplying and operating a 250 kV electrical transformer. This high-capacity transformer is critical for meeting the electrical demands of the expanded garage, ensuring reliable power supply.
10. Rainwater drainage network: Supplying materials, equipment, machinery, and labor, including PVC pipes, all in accordance with Iraqi Roads and Highways technical specifications. The drainage system is designed to effectively manage rainwater and prevent flooding, ensuring longevity and functionality of the road and garage area.

Environmental and Safety Considerations: The project will comply with local and international safety regulations, ensuring the safety of workers and minimizing environmental impact through the use of eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient solutions where possible.
